Mia Nicolai

Dutch-Russian artist Mia Nicolai creates music that blends theatrical pop with raw emotion and dreamlike vulnerability. After representing the Netherlands at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, she began reshaping her sound, drawing on the self-acceptance and playful spirit of her younger self. Her debut EP, Sharing Space Among The Stars (Superglue Records), produced by Vetle Junker and executive- produced by Ella Vos and Tommy English, marks her first fully realized artistic statement — a collection that moves between cosmic wonder and intimate reflection. 

Guided by her creative alter-ego “Rocket Girl,” Mia channels influences ranging from Bowie, Queen, and Coldplay to Cirque du Soleil into luminous, emotionally charged performances that invite connection, courage, and joy. “Nobody knows what we’re doing here, ” she says. “So we might as well make it into a party.”
